I always liked that story. Very nice reading of it, too. Your voice is lovely.

Oh, and I like the graphic, too.

Oh, I loved this so much! I was going to say I wish it could be filmed, but it's already playing in my head, so that's the next best thing.

I'm in love with that graphic as well!

Lovely voice and well written story. I always enjoy a third person POV. I'm not sure anybody would describe Scully's lips as 'thin' though. Also, as a teacher, I can guarantee that anybody who is not recognized as parents by the staff would need to sign a register. Unless things are more lax in the US of A but I find that hard to believe. Ah sorry, that's just me being nitpicky.

Oh yes, forgot to say the cover art is great! Was it a shot of the Gunmen's VW from the show? I tried to find one for a cover art I did a few months ago and had to settle for a random VW pic instead. Color me jealous.

Naraht is a fine writer. I shall go find more things she wrote.

I had never read this, and now I must go and find the rest of the author's work. It's a wonderful choice of story- I think first person narration by an outside observer is kind of ideal for podfic, because it feels so real--and your delivery is excellent. You really bring that unnamed viewpoint character to life--her curiosity, her interest in this strange family--with notes of doubt and surprise and humor at all the right moments. It was an absolute delight to listen to. :)

Edited to add: I like the cover art, too!
