The X-Files has been and forever will be my favorite obsession. I was just a kid when the pilot aired but had always been interested in sci-fi and fantasy, horror and the paranormal. I remember watching that first episode in awe - I was hooked from the start. Twenty years later, I'm still watching. I'm still creeped out by the Fluke Man, just as wrapped up in the mythology, and always finding my stomach in knots as the amazing relationship between Scully and Mulder progresses.

I've really enjoyed everyone's posts so far. I'm not a very good writer so fan fiction was out of the question and posting about my personal X-Files love seemed like aimless rambling. I chose to do some episode-focused fan art for my contribution. Trying to get anything done during the middle of a big move is difficult so it isn't quite finished. I'm going to post it as-is and hope that I can post the final artwork at a later date.
