"That's a lovely shade of lipstick you're wearing. Is that Indian Summer?"

Love that! (Although, why the hell didn't that lady RUN?!)

What are your thoughts on the way Scully sees Pfaster shifting into different things?

Really pretty artwork... Icon #13 makes me smile at frustrated Mulder.

What are your thoughts on the way Scully sees Pfaster shifting into different things?

Interesting question. I recently read a fanfic (the title of which escapes at the moment) wherein Scully had a concussion from when Pfaster ran her off the road, and was thus hallucinating when Pfaster shifts into the demon, etc.
That made me think. The suggestion is plausible. When I first saw the episode, I didn't delve too deeply into the why, but had thought that Pfaster represented all Scully's fears rolled into one ball of nastiness, highlighted by the car accident, her situation, etc.

Your thoughts?

See... following what happens in Orison, I kinda like to think that Scully is really seeing something, the evil inside him, the evil that she is destined to kill. But then I like Scully as a reluctant warrior of God. :D

Hmmm... I wonder if CC & Co. had plotted that far in advance. Was Orison planned for later, or if not specifically Orison, an episode dealing with the return of Pfaster? Interesting.

I like your theory, and your vision of Scully.

On a lighter (and totally not meant in a mocking way) note, would Scully's warrior costumer be Zena-ish, or perhaps something along the lines of the bare-breasted Amazons? *g*

Oh, I doubt they did plan that far. I like to take my story meta separate from my production meta.

I hope not amazons! Those chicks cut off their boobies! I'm thinking of a sleek, cat-suit kind of thing, with a nice plunging neckline to show off her tasteful cross.

As probably the only representative of my gender in this thread, just let me say that her rig from First Person Shooter would work just fine. Go modern--chianmail's not really very flattering if it's any bigger than a bikini and I'm not sure God would approve.

It's a manip of a scene from the movie "Kalifornia", totally not mine. I have no idea who did it originally, the red hair is a shoop!

Oh, pretty! My manips are fairly fail, too. Sadness.

Haa! I used that icon because it's a manip a friend made for Veronica Mars. I think she did such a nice job.

But thanks for the use of the Doctor, and I'll use a Seven quote icon to assure you: I'm as fit as I ever was.

here's just THAT AMAZING MANIP (fap fap fap)

It's like Season Two Mulder is about to get some from Season Six Scully...

Achk... "First Person Shooter" is my most hated episode. It's bordering on an irrational *stab, stab* level of hate after my latest rewatch. The outfit, I merely found ridiculous.

Is that Mulder with the M.A.?

I have a fine and rarefied appreciation 'hot dogs' (with heavy cheese, yum), but I just find that whole episode so ridiculously stupid. It's not one element more than the other that makes me see red... it's just a perfect storm of rage inducement for me.

I find Jade Blue Afterglow one of the less annoying aspects of the episode, and Scully's get-up (I assume we're talking the actual one, not the computer rendering at the end) doesn't even strike me as sexy, let alone exploitative. I prefer the SWAT outfit from Tunguska... thought she looked gorgeous in the Kevlar vest in Pusher.
