(Someone else's) Fanart for your celebrations

Hey all, and happy 1013! Although technically where I'm sitting it's 1014 already, and personally, I'd never say the month before the day anyway. But we'll ignore all that.

As this is free-for-all I wanted to share some fanart that I did not make, I repeat, I'm not taking any credit for this. It's a picture given to me by the artist, a school friend of mine a couple of years ago. I probably requested her to draw something X Files for me and she did - and I only rediscovered it about a month ago! It was such a pleasant surprise. Now, unfortunately the artist and I aren't really in touch anymore and I couldn't find her deviantArt page but she's awesome and such a good artist.

So here's a bit of a teaser for you, to see the full picture open the cut!

I had thought to get this up sooner, and honestly I'm not 100% sure it's really done, but by my clock it's still 10/13 on the American West Coast and I wanted to share something with you guys again :-) Thank you all for the wonderful things you shared these last weeks!

this is a thing i made for wendelah1's birthday this year.



yes it is an x-files cross stitch. yes i did print out the letter X from the x-files font and trace it onto the fabric. yes i did almost go blind working on all that black stitching.

but it was for love! i regret nothing.
