Discussion Post: Favorite Recurring Character

Anyone who knows me can predict my answer to this question, even without the icon as a tip-off. I've already written meta on the topic, too: Why I Love Diana Fowley.



The tl;dr version: I like her because she's a complicated female character who is fun to write fic about.

Fowley!! Yes, I am that rare breed: a M/S shipper who actually doesn't loathe Fowley.

He was only in two eps, but Donnie Pfaster is one of my favorite recurring characters. He scared the shit out of me and just thinking of the candles in the bathroom still gives me the chills. But if this isn't the type of recurring character you mean, it's a toss-up between Deep Throat and X.

I think of him as a repeat guest shot, but his episodes inspired a lot of fic. I say he counts.

If I absolutely had to pick just one character, it would be Melissa. I have a bit of a soft spot for Marita too.
