Alright, I got nothing. I even took a vacation day yesterday so that I'd have time to do something, but then I just ended up watching X-Files all day and didn't come up with anything.

Except this:

Originally, I was gonna make an "advertisement" for X-Files 3, but I only got as far as Doggett and Reyes. The look I was going for was kinda in the style of old book covers or VHS boxes from the 70s/80s.

Dogget was capped from an episode of The Last Resort by robert-patrick.ws. Reyes was capped from an episode of The Bridge by me.

And here are a few caps from "Eve":









I'm sure this were already available on one of the screen grab sites, but I capped these myself, so feel free to use them in any way you want.

Again, sorry I couldn't come up with anything.

I think you did fine. The graphic of Doggett and Reyes is very seventies, and quite successful. I especially love the cap from "Eve" of Mulder in 3/4 profile with the lights running through it. I might try to make an icon of it. It's a great episode. I almost chose it instead of "Beyond the Sea."

Did you watch the episodes for the rewatch or just randomly? *cough*

Did you ever see this, Kids Today! I Blame the Rap Music, the TWOP recap for "Eve"?

Also, I loved Last Resort.

Thanks! I started to make an icon from that cap, but I figured someone else could do a much better job. "Eve" was probably one of my most watched episodes from Season One, but so was "Beyond the Sea".

I finished up Season 9. I will catch up on the rewatch this weekend, though. I was just too stressed out this week.

Uh, well, no. I stopped midway through the first page when I saw how long it was. I'll get back to you in a week.

I assume everyone probably knows about the comic? Monster of the Week (http://www.shaenon.com/monsteroftheweek/2012/09/07/09072012/) I find most of them too snarky, but the one for Eve is pretty tame.

I haven't seen any of Last Resort. I hate that they don't give shows a real chance to build a following anymore.

Sorry, I read the first page of the TWOP review, and when I saw that it was 13 pages I stopped.

I was going to watch the episodes, but the dvd drive on my laptop seems to be going out.

Well, she's been in every episode, I think. Mostly, her storyline has been separate from what I'd call the main storyline, but she's had some major scenes. Her character is very unlike Reyes, though, and that's hard for me to watch sometimes.

The Doggett and Reyes graphic is really cool! I grew up in the 70s/80s and what you did feels authentic to the time period. Ah, Doggett and Reyes. I really do like them a lot.

I like your Doggett & Reyes graphic. It looks very retro to me. What text did you use for the font?

I like your caps of 'Eve' too. Scully looks like she has real-people hair! I missed the first season when the show was first airing and I could never catch a re-run of 'Eve', or find a VHS copy. I was ~dying to see it when I was watching the show back in the day but never managed it. (I finally saw it when I got back into the show around the time when the second movie came out.) Anyway! I have a soft spot for this episode, and it's great to see it represented.

E.B.E. was the first season episode I watched over and over again the most. I also watched Born Again and Shadows an awful lot. I'm guessing they were the first season episodes I managed to tape myself....
